Katie - NOLA Greetings

A simple greeting in New Orleans turns into an anthem. “Who Dat!” This is our anthem. Every person in NOLA or from NOLA is required to say it at least once a week. However, most people say it every day of their lives without even realizing. “Who Dat!” is more than just a greeting; it is our call of celebration, friendship, worship, and love. The greatest moment in a New Orleanian’s life is when they are in the Superdome with thousands of people screaming this phrase. Those people become your closest friends and a sense of joy and pride sweep over you. It gives me the chills every time. So, “Who Dat!”
