Francie - NOLA Influences

What comes to mind when you hear the words New Orleans?  For me, it is
one word, SAINTS. It is not necessarily the team itself that has
affected me so much, but more the ideas of hope and prosperity this
team brought us after the hurricane.  The reason I love my city so
much is because we do not let anything bring us down.  The Saints were
the one thing that brought our city together and helped us tell the
rest of the country that we were going to come back stronger than
ever.  The topic of the Saints is also something that can unite very
different people together.  I do not know how many times I have bonded
with someone that I otherwise would not have talked to because of
their Saints attire.  The night the Saints won the Superbowl was
and is still to this day the best night of my life.  I cannot explain
the pure adrenaline and excitement I felt.  The Saints will forever
remind me of my beloved city and the incredible community that calls
it home.
